Any thoughts on side/rock guards

I'm thinking of installing a pair of side/rock guards on my TJ and was wondering if anyone had any favorite products...or advice on what to avoid? I'm currently looking at the Warn Rock Sliders and Currie Rock Ribz.

Any thoughts?

I had the warn ones on my TJ..the powerder coat seemed to flake off quickly and peel. They were solid and held up well aside from the flaking.

Home made 2x4x3/16 first. If you can make them, poison spyder for sure

Thanks for the Poison Spyder tip. Any thoughts on the Sun Performance Rocker Guards? I like the looks of them, but how do they hold up?

I'd go with Poison Spyder. I made my own, from 4"x4"x.25" angle iron, then added a 2"x2" standoff to the lower edge for a step and to stay away from rocks and trees. Now it's a 6" skid across the bottom, nice to drag across rocks.
