okay... you people are a BAD INFLUENCE!!! - just finished my flush LED tail light conversion... wouldnt have done it if you people hadn't hyped it up and offered links for direction... what next... on board air??? well... actually... yes (had it on my old 91 sahara...)

turned out bad a$$ (dont want it to say "booty" Jeepz....) - took about 2 hours to cut and wire - got the tail lights from work (i'm a truck driver and we have them for our trailers) and since my jeep used to be a "dingy" behind an RV - it had the HD relay so the turn signals ACTUALLY WORK!!!

anyway - definitely recommend this mod - my left housing was busted and could only see having to keep replacing them - the flush setup is safe and looks waaaay cool!!!

Eye juanz 2 C 2......Haven't made it to the back lights like you guys have yet, but have put LEDs in the front of the 79 CJ-5.... looks nice and was straight forward. LBR

thx sully! its getting there! = and tug - on board air is next - snitty - the back up lites - well, theres just one on the left side under the crossmember right now - went to autozone and bought a $20 set of low profile (about 1" tall) driving lites - they're 55watt but the current draw shouldnt be too bad so the stock wiring should be ok (plus i'm putting in a switch for manual use) dont know how legal it is but i can sure see where i'm backing up!

I did mine a couple of years ago and found these in a ricer shop, "Lite n Boltz". Perfect for a YJ. Just make a 3/16" hole next to the Licence Plate hinge, push a small rubber gromit in and thread the wire through.
