The only one that has sounded a bit more serious to me is the Thomas Knight ESCâ„¢ Electric Supercharger, and if you read their own page, it is not a "run all the time" type of deal but used more as a nitro would be used, and requires at least 2 additional batteries to run off, which to me, makes it not worth while.

The only ones that really work are almost as expensive as a regular turbo or supercharger setup, hence they are not really worth it.

note the 900W motor. Enough to be a concern for your alternator output, but nowhere near the energy required by a belt driven real supercharger.
