Np 241

Hey, I'm looking to replace my 93 limited zj with a wj. So far all I've found in them is the dreaded NP249 or the 241. After swapping the 249 (vicus coupler went bad) in my zj for a 231 I hoped to find one in the wj's. Is the 241 a peice 'o crap or not? I'd rather not have to change another t-case.

Are you sure it's not the 242? The 242 was available in Cherokee's and Grand Cherokee's and is a pretty decent transfer case, not as problematic as the fulltime 247 and 249 transfer cases.
