New Soft Top Issues

I need to get my brother a present and I know he wants something for his TJ. I am thinking in the $100 range. The jeep is pretty much stock except for some lights. Any good ideas?

Whenever the need arises to buy a fellow Jeeper a present, I usually try to find something that they can use for the Jeep but not necessarily a part that goes on the Jeep. Knowledge is a wonderful gift. Jeep books, magazine subscriptions, a factory level service manual. How about a set of tire deflaters and a nice pressure gauge? How equipped are they in the tool department? Maybe a nice set of Torx bits and sockets.

A set of disco's would be good if he wants to get into offroading. One of those covers they make that you can slap on it in a hurry when rain hits might be a nice idea too. If you get him the Torx bits, get him some kind of stress release device (like one of those rubber balls you squeeze) to go with them :lol:
