Just Got back from a Jeep Jamboree and called Rock Krawler to replace a tie rod from their xfactor steering kit that was bent the first time I used it. The stock tie rod lasted through 15 Jamborees. Of course they wont cover it. They said if you bang the tie rod into a rock its not covered. I think they should change there name to Road Krawler or Grass Krawler or Graded path Krawler or something more wussy like that after that one. Here is there warranty below.

Their warranty says "all control arms and track bars will be replaced if bent, cracked, broke or whatever."
But they're telling you they don't cover rock damage?????? How do they figure it would get bent?
I think you should call them back & if the person on the phone doesn't give the answer you like ask for their boss...keep going up until they make good on their promise.Don't be afraid to threaten them with the BBB &/or legal action. Companies haev to learn that the customer expects what they pay for!!!!! Good Luck!!

call back and ask for whome ever is the most responsible person there, if they still can't help you, tell them you'll just use their competitors product and then call the better buisness buraeu (sp) might not be able to actually do anything, but why give business to a company that won't stand behind their product.

or call them and complain your wife bumped the parking lot stop and the tie rod bent. that might make them want to fix it for you. tell them you are thinking of making a thread on all the internet jeep forums you are part of because it was embarrassing having to tow the jeep home to fix a tie rod that got bent in a parking lot. maybe they will offer ot swap it out then?
