Mine cracked the other day, and basically fell comepletely out. I ordered the new part and am planning to do it at home, but Im just curious if the installation is going to be difficult, and if you could throw any tips my way. thanks peaceee

Are you talking about replacing the slip yoke or the weld on yoke? The slip yoke is a no brainer, just line up the ears with the ears on the opposite end.
If you are replacing the weld yoke, then grind back whatever is left of the weld and chamfer the edge a bit. Install the weld yoke and line it up with the ears of the opposite end of the shaft. It's usually a tight fit so you may need to use a BFH or get the shaft warm. It should be warm from the ginding. When the yoke is fully seated in the tube, tack weld it on opposite sides, then go back and fully weld it in.
The shaft should be lined up square, but may not be fully balanced. If you get some vibes then you may have to get it balanced at a driveshaft shop.

The Transfer case is suprisingly fine. As for specs, sorry I forgot to mention the year of my jeep. I have a 94 YJ, with a ford 8.8 rear, anymore help would be great.

PS- No I am not talking about replacing the yoke weld, just the driveshaft slip yoke. Ive heard different things about whether I need to weld or not, and how hard it will be. Just trying to clear some things up

Did it pull out then break or vice versa? If it pulled out first under rear end flex, then you need to get a slip yoke eliminator for the case.
