My dad was in the 7th Infantry in WW2. He passed away in '79, I was 10. The war had been hard on him. I raise a cold one to the Vets, freedom damn sure ain't free!

You know in 3rd grade when we had a veterans day concert and we sang proud to be an american there was a feeling of pride that was there when me and a hundred other kids were singing a song about our great country, I heard the song yesterday and got that same feeling of patriotism, you cant beat thy feeling, im so proud of our friends and family in the armed forces.

My grandfather served in the Navy during WWI; my father served in the Pacific (Marines) in WWII; and, my brother served in Vietnam (air Force). God bless all who served to keep us free.
