whats your fav brand of lift kit

rustys, but it depends on wht you want out of the lift

I have only had rough country and old man emu. Both worked great and rode well when I had them. The ome was a 2.5 on the wife's liberty and the rough country was a 5 on a cherokee

I have helped install several Tear-flex, two Rockkrawler kits, one 9th degree, a sky hacker, and one Rubicon express. All had there good points and bad points. That is why having a local jeep club near by that you can do a seat of your pants judgment is better than asking some times.

I know with a YJ you'll have less stuff to worry about but try to get the most "complete" kit you can afford. That way you won't have stuff nickel and dimeing you down the road.

OMV makes the cheapest kit.
CSE Offroad has them on sale for $ 375.00 W/ free shipping but I don't know anything about them good or bad.

Just to get it started workin to get a lift but what would your brand be.

For the last ten years, really like the Tuff County 4" lift and revolver shackles and the ultra long shocks. Very impressive and no errors, no matter how rough the country is on VEX, seems to be fine with this arrangement.
