Noticed a leaky rear pinion seal on the 96 Xj sport 4x4. I'm fairly confident with a wrench, but I've never replaced one of these... Any tips? Tools? Thanks!

they are pretty simple. first get a chilton or haynes manual so you know special torque or procedure a good torque wrench. block wheels check the bearing play if bad needs a rebuild. pull the driveshaft put a pipe wrench on the yoke and zip off the nut that holds the yoke on and you will most likely need a puller to get it off then from there pull out seal put new one in reinstall yoke and nut you might want a new nut since it is a lock nut put in driveshaft.
