TJ Brake Light Question

My rear brake lights are not working and I was wondering if someone could tell me where electrically to start checking. My third brake light above the spare works fine and I have no blown fuses. I don't know if the brake switch was seperate from that or not. I am guessing not. I thought I had tried everything but am lost. Please help. Thanks.[addsig]

Thats kinda wierd, cause the lighting for the third lamp comes right off of the wires for your passenger side tale light. Have you checked the groud wire? Take the cover off of the driver side tail light and see if it may have come loose. Beyond that you got me.[addsig]

Hello, I have a CJ7 and some time ago I use to have the same problem with the back lights. I solved it checking the GROUND WIRE, maybe this could help a bit. saludos![addsig]
