Screw extractors are similar looking to a drill bit... the idea is that you drill a hole in the bolt and then put the extractor in (using the drill) to get the bolt free.

When I bought my CJ it had 2" lift shackles on it (4" longer than stock). Those things just made it downright scary on the highway. I don't know what point shackles start to cause adverse handling/steering at... but as soon as I put stock size shackles on all my steering issues corrected...

Only 2 wires, the one that its hanging from, and the frayed remains of one on the other side. Would the old (and long gone) stock radio have had a noise filter?

Is this your daily driver? CJ's just aren't nearly as comfortable as TJs are if you're on the highway alot... and although you said CJ's are beefy, TJ's are pretty damned capable. And don't even get me started on how much I want fuel injection... jim

Mine's got the draw bar and the ball hitch... and that really seems to be all that there is to it... I've only used it once to tow my old roommates boat, there doesn't appear to be anywhere to hook the trailer's lights up to though :shock: jim
