    Well, I'm a veteran cruiser!

RE: 1999 Sahara Soft top windows WANTED That looks like a lot of fun. I kinda swore I'd never go on a cruise after 4 years of sea duty and one year on brown water boats.

transfer case squeal on 93 yj ??

It could be a bearing if the oil ran out for a while. Usually the throwout brg is the culprit for the first to make noise.

RE: Stripping paint I did body work on it last summer then because primer absorbs moisture, I used Rust Encapsulator by Eastwood Co., (like POR15) and painted the entire Willys with about 10 spray cans. I think I've learnd a lot more now so I'm ready to do it right this year, with a good PPG...

    Clutch chatter, HELP ME

If you mean lateral movement, did you change the pilot bearing when the clutch job was done the last time? Sounds like a good spot to start. I used the LUK Gold Kit for here http://www.dialaclutch.com/progoldstorecont.htm It's a heavier duty clutch more for a light truck and off road.

Never owned a Jeep. Tell me why I should buy one

I think the 98 is a much better deal if it's in good shape. You'll like the ride in coil springs and that's coming from a guy that's only owned leaf sprung Jeeps (and a Willys ;) ) except for my wife's Grand Cherokee.
