Dude the newest Qtec catalog has a great write up on shocks. The differences between gas charged and hydraulic, mono or twin tubed. All about piston diameter,ect. Really good stuff.

You're losing tire bulge the bigger you go. Tire bulge is good for 2 things 1. bigger footprint 2. protecting rims against scrapes. 15x8's should be fine.

01 XJ issues the jeep kool aid is strong with these ones. show the one where the xj makes it up the hill where the H1 cant. thats the best one.
