I put in digital gauges. They work great. If you have the money. I would recommend it. If you don't have the money like I did just do one gauge at a time.

They sell a spray called belt dressing. Spray it on the belts. If the sound goes away thats it .

I had that happen and it was the syncros in the transmission.

I had a similar problems and like Hi C said it was the water pump. grab the water pump pulley and move it up and down side to side to see if there is any movement. If there is then your pump is about to go.

I don't know where you got your prices but I got my Weber for 175.00. Brand new. Do a search for Collins bros Jeep on the internet. Thats who I got it from. I have not had a problem with the Weber.

My adjustment is down too. I have no problem. It sounds like you have a linkage issue. It maybe stuck or binding?

The way I set my Weber was. To hold the butterfly plate closed while pushing the throttle linkage to full throttle you should hear or feel kinda of a click. Your fast Idle should be set correctly. Then you can adjust the speed.

I am thinking of selling my Jeep. I am curious to see what I should ask for. It is an 88 yj with a brand new 4.2L engine still has about 72,000 miles left on it's warranty. Tires are brand new, so is the Weber Carb. The body is in great shape and so is the interior. Any Suggestions?

Just use polishing or rubbing compound. They'll come right out.

I don't know about your 92. But for my 88YJ I had to remove the channel the top would not set all the way down.
